On a warm August evening, TRAV finds himself on a trolley on its way to a place called “Garcia y Vegas”, where he discovers the nature of his musical talent in a moment of insanity, depicted in this album of twelve works, becoming TRAV, The Loose Cannon.

TRAV, The Loose Cannon wakes up in the middle of the night. Something has happened. The closet door is open, and a breeze blows by, filling his nostrils with the odor of menthol cigarettes and alcohols. He walks into the closet, his hands brushing against the coats to his right, once-again inside the trolley embarking on an adventure where he encounters a “bookie”. Las Vegas in the 70s can be a precarious place.

In the dimly-lit, circular glow in the back room of Birkoff’s Saloon, the tobacco in the air is thick, and the chatter of the men and women in the background taunt an anxious drifter playing a game of cards with TRAV, The Loose Cannon, who, albeit subtly, questions if the nature of a wager is to “Leave it In Vegas” before calling “Rummy”?
